Seeing the panels on your roof is a major milestone, but installation isn’t the final step.
Your system may still need to complete several stages before activation.
Inspection
Your local jurisdiction or another applicable authority may inspect the completed installation.
Commissioning
Your equipment is tested and configured to confirm that the system is ready to operate correctly.
Permission to Operate
Where required, your utility reviews the completed system and issues Permission to Operate, commonly called PTO.
Placed in Service
Once the applicable requirements have been completed, Daylight can place your system in service.
How will I know when my system is ready?
Daylight will notify you when your system has been Placed in Service.
Your Daylight billing timeline begins from this milestone—not simply from the date your panels were installed.
