Who maintains my Daylight system, and what happens if something stops working?

Daylight owns your solar and battery system, and Daylight also owns responsibility for coordinating service when the system requires attention.

If you believe your solar system, battery, monitoring equipment, or other Daylight equipment isn’t working correctly, contact Daylight Support.

We’ll review the issue and determine the appropriate next step.

Depending on the issue, resolution may involve Daylight’s support or technical teams, an installer or approved service provider, the equipment manufacturer, or your utility.

You do not need to determine which party is responsible before contacting us.

Daylight coordinates the resolution.

Does Daylight pay for every repair?

Not necessarily.

Financial responsibility depends on what caused the issue and the terms of your PPA, applicable warranties, and insurance.

For example, a manufacturing defect, installation issue, covered system failure, storm damage, or third-party damage may each be handled differently.

Determining financial responsibility is separate from opening your support request. Contact Daylight first and we’ll coordinate the appropriate next steps.
