Your Daylight system is designed based on information available about your home and electricity needs when the system is designed.
Your electricity consumption can change over time.
Common reasons include:
Purchasing an electric vehicle
Adding occupants
Installing a heat pump
Adding a pool or hot tub
Home additions or renovations
New appliances
Changes in heating or cooling usage
If your home consumes more electricity than your Daylight system provides, additional electricity can be supplied by your utility.
This is separate from your Production Guarantee.
The Production Guarantee addresses whether the Daylight system produces the amount of electricity guaranteed under your PPA. It does not guarantee that the system will always provide 100% of your home’s future electricity consumption.
