How does my Daylight Energy Subscription PPA work?

With a Daylight Energy Subscription PPA, Daylight installs and owns the solar and battery system at your home.

Instead of purchasing the solar and battery equipment, you purchase energy from the Daylight system according to the terms established in your PPA.

How is my monthly price determined?

Before your PPA is finalized, Daylight models the expected solar production of the system designed for your home.

This Forecasted Production is included in your PPA and is used to establish the economics of your PPA and your monthly payment.

Your monthly payment does not change each month simply because your system happens to produce more or less electricity that month.

Because Actual Production naturally varies, Daylight guarantees 90% of the applicable Forecasted Production, with performance reviewed every three years.

If Actual Production falls below Guaranteed Production for the applicable period, Daylight makes a payment to you for the applicable shortfall according to your PPA.

What does my Daylight Energy Subscription PPA include?

Your PPA includes:

  • A Daylight-owned solar and battery system

  • Battery backup

  • System monitoring

  • Covered system maintenance and service

  • A 25-year term

  • A Production Guarantee equal to 90% of applicable Forecasted Production

Daylight owns, operates, and maintains the system according to the terms of your PPA.
