Daylight earns revenue through the Daylight Energy Subscription PPA and by managing distributed energy resources that can participate in eligible grid and energy programs.

A battery is useful to the homeowner because it provides backup power and helps manage energy at the home.

At the same time, a network of Daylight-managed batteries can provide energy and other services to the electrical grid when needed.

This allows the same energy infrastructure to create value at both the home and grid level.

That combination is an important part of Daylight’s distributed-energy model.
